Gul was born in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan he was born in a middle-class family and frequently played tape-ball cricket.

Umar Gul began his One Day International (ODI) career on April 3, 2003 in a match against Zimbabwe at the Cherry Blossom Sharjah Cup. He played in all the three group matches of the 2007 World Cup picking up four wickets with an impressive economy rate of 3.13. Having played 48 ODIs, he holds a good bowling average of 28.45 for 64 wickets, which includes one five-wicket haul.
Umar Gul played his first international Twenty 20 (T20I) match on September 4, 2007 against Kenya in Nairobi. He took three New Zealand wickets conceding 15 runs of just four overs at the International Cricket Council (ICC) World T20 of 2007. His achievement helped Pakistan to win the semi-final against New Zealand. Umar Gul took three wickets in the final match against India and became the highest wicket-taker in the series. He played three matches for Peshawar team at the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and represented the Pakistan A in a few matches. Before being selected in the 2006 Pakistani squad for the England tour, Umar Gul played some warm-up matches with Pakistan XI.
On 30 May 2012, Pakistan Army raided Umar Gul's house in Peshawar and arrested his brother on the charge of hiding a wanted militant.
In February 2008, Gul signed with the Indian Premier League and was drafted by Shahrukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders franchise for US $150,000.
He played in six matches, taking 12 wickets at an average of 15.33, including a player of the match award in Kolkata's final game in which Gul took 4-23 and scored 24 runs from 11 balls.
In December 2008 Gul signed with the Western Warriors to compete in the Australian domestic 2008-09 KFC Twenty20 Big Bash tournament.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2008 campaign, he was purchased for a price of $150,000 to represent the Kolkata Knight Riders team. On May 25, 2008, in a match against Kings XI Punjab, he claimed four wickets for 23 runs. For his commendable performance in the game, Umar Gul won the Player of the Match award. He played six innings scoring 39 runs with a strike rate of 205.26. Umar Gul took 12 wickets conceding 184 runs with a bowling average of 15.33 and an economy rate of 8.17.
He performed very well in his debut match for the Warriors, taking 4 wickets for 15 runs in a losing side.
He was amongst the most successful bowlers in the competition despite not being available for the entire tournament he finished second top wicket taker with 12 wickets.
Internationally, Gul has taken 47 wickets in just 32 games at an average of 14.65, a truly outstanding statistic.
He is the second leading wicket-taker in Twenty20 Internationals behind teammate Shahid Afridi.Umar Gul, after taking five-for in Twenty20 International Cricket, became the first ever bowler to own five wickets haul in all international formats of the game.

On 12 November 2008, Akmal hit two consecutive 6s in the last over. As a result Pakistan won the first ODI in Abu Dhabi against West Indies. Akmal was also signed on to the Rajasthan Royals, and played in the inaugural season of the IPL. He played five matches in the tournament, as wicket-keeper and top-order batsman, including the final of the tournament against the Chennai Super Kings. He took two catches in the first innings, however he was run out for six runs during the Royal’s chase. The Royals went on to win the tournament after a thrilling finish.

Umar Akmal was born on 26 May 1990 and he is a Pakistani cricketer. He played his first ODI match on 1 August 2009 against Sri Lanka and then he played his first test match against New Zealand on Nov 23 2009. He is a part-time spinner and right handed batsman. Similar to his brothers Adnan and Kamran, he maintained wickets for the national team.
He is an aggressive style cricketer. In only his sixth first class match he smashed 248 off just 225 deliveries, including four sixes. He followed that up with an unbeaten 186 in his 8th first class match, off just 170 balls. He fared less well in his second season of first class cricket, with a string of low scores batting at number 3.
He found form in the final few matches of the 2008/09 season and then in the RBS T20 tournament thus getting the selectors nod to play for Pakistan A side on their tour to Australia A.
Umar came to prominence during the Australia A tour in June/July 2009. In the two Test matches he recorded scores of 54, 100*, 130, 0. In the ODI series that followed Umar continued his fine form with a century in the opening ODI encounter off just 68 deliveries.

The emerging star of Pakistani cricket team “Ahmed Shehzad” was born on 23rd of November 1991 in the city of Lahore. He belongs to the Pakhtoon tribe “Afridi” (very few people know about this fact) when he was only eight months or so his father passed away. And his family saw difficult times, but due to the struggle and hard working of his mother he and his siblings got the quality education and learned the norms of the society. Unlike so many Pakistani cricketers he has come from an educated background and that thing reflects from his behavior.
In limited-overs domestic cricket Ahmed Shehzad plays for Lahore Lions and in June 2011 during the Faysal Bank T-20 Super Eights Shehzad top scored the innings by scoring 74 of 47 balls imposing a mammoth total of 218 against the opposition Sialkot Stallions who in turn were bowled out for 173 Shehzad took two-catches and a wicket as well he was rewarded man-of the match for his superb performances.
The right-handed batsman, who took to the game aged just seven, has over the years been a prolific scorer for Pakistan's Under-19s and Youth sides. Just 16, he made his domestic debut for Habib Bank Limited and the first signs of his enormous talent were evident when with a fine 167, he helped Pakistan Under-19 chase down a stiff target of 342 set by England in a Youth Test. Back home, he went to score 315 runs in a 5-0 mauling of Australia Under-19s in a Youth ODI series and a whirlwind 92 of just 49 balls for the Lahore Eagles in domestic game gave further proof of his talent. Shehzad made his debut for Pakistan in a one-day international against Australia on 29 April 2009. In his maiden match he scored one boundary before he was run-out. The following match he scored 40 in an innings that included 4 fours. The third match he scored 43 but this time just scored 2 fours and in the final match of the series he scored 19 with 1 boundary to his name before he was given out leg-before. These consistent performances meant that Shehzad made his Twenty20 debut against Australia scoring a single boundary before being caught in the deep. Despite a failure in the Twenty20 Shehzad was selected for the Pakistan squad in the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 he only played one-game which was the opening game against England being caught by Paul Collingwood Pakistan changed their combination removing Shehzad and his partner Salman Butt and replaced them with Shahzaib Hasan and Kamran Akma
Since 2009, he has been the integral part of the team, famous because of his aggressive playing style he has made some quick centuries to prove this. His selection in the world cup squad for 2011 (Held in sub-continent) was turning the point of his career. He performed well in the world cup as he is not only an aggressive opener for Pakistani Cricket team but an energized fielder. He fields often in the point position (which is thought to be the vital fielding position in cricket).

He took almost four years to make his debut in Test cricket. In the year 2013 a test against Sri Lanka was his first ever test match. The test cap was given to him in small traditional ceremony of cricket by the legend test cricketer of Pakistan “Younis Khan”. He had got his place in T20 internationals in the same year when he made his ODI debut (2009) since then he has been present in almost all the shorter formats.
He has always said that whatever he is right now is just because of the hardworking of his mother and he cannot pay back what she has done for him.
He scored hundreds against Australia and New Zealand, but had to miss two Tests against New Zealand after being struck on the head by a Corey Anderson bouncer. He returned in the subsequent ODI series and smashed his sixth ODI century in the third game. Shehzad is an integral part of the team that was picked for the 2015 World Cup.
